Sunday, August 2, 2009. This excursion produced hundreds of photos from which the best are shown here. Keep in mind that these were taken without benefit of a tripod or terra firma. The captain had an open deck policy, so it was easy to get into position. If you are ever in Seward, don’t miss this trip!

We had an Orca pod sighting, but it was extremely brief and they never surfaced again to our view. Time to move on and grab a bus to Anchorage.
